When Does Abelia Kaleidoscope Flower The fragrant almost funnel like white tinged pink flowers appear from the month of June all the way through until October. The sunnier the position the more flowers are produced, regular dead heading will also encourage the production of more flowers. These delicately scented flowers also act as a magnet to the local bee population and in turn the honey producers. Looking After Your Glossy Abelia Generally pest and disease free and an easy to grow shrub in many if not all locations. A low maintenance shrub which can benefit from a sunny position in a fertile, moist, but well drained soil. Pruning is best done during March and April to maintain a neat and tidy shrub to the required height.
